Face Holiday Choir Roster

Face is looking for adult Face Academy of Music singers currently enrolled in the Coal Creek Community Chorus, Rock Choir Colorado, and Adult A Cappella group for the fall 2019 term to join us on stage for two songs during the following Holiday Concerts. Singers may sign up for any/all of these opportunities:

  • LINCOLN CENTER (Fort Collins, CO) on “Black Friday”, Nov 29 at 7:30pm
    • Tickets available here
  • PIKES PEAK CENTER (Colorado Springs, CO) on Wednesday, Dec 11 at 7:30pm
    • Tickets available here
  • VANCE BRAND CIVIC AUDITORIUM (Longmont, CO) on Thursday, Dec 19 at 7:30pm
    • Tickets available here
  • PARAMOUNT THEATRE (Denver, CO) on Saturday, Dec 21 at 7:30pm
    • Tickets available here

Please read the following carefully, and if interested, register on THIS FORM to be selected to join us (on a first-come, first-served basis):

  • The FAM choir will be performing two songs at each concert, (1) A simple unison setting of “Silent Night” and (2) “From Now On”.
  • To perform in the choir, you will need to purchase a ticket into the performance at any location in the venue (we will meet at intermission to set up for this segment of the performance). There is no further tuition required to participate.
    • We realize Colorado Springs is far, but it is also a market in which we are trying to grow our fan base (and possibly expand Rock Choir). As such, if you agree to perform at Lincoln Center, Vance Brand, OR Paramount, we will GIVE you a free ticket to Pikes Peak Center to join us! Please consider this, as we’d like to make a strong showing there! 🙂
  • If we don’t get a balanced choir of at least 40 singers for each venue three weeks prior to the performance date, we may cut the choir for that performance. You are encouraged NOT to buy your ticket until the choir is confirmed (and if you do buy a ticket prior to that, you run the risk of attending the show but not performing).
  • Each choir will be first-signed-up, first served… for each performance, we will accept a maximum of 30 sopranos, 30 altos, 15 tenors/baritone-uppers and 15 basses/baritone-lowers.
  • Based on sign-ups, we will post a list of who can plan on performing at which venue that will be hosted at the Holiday Choir website listed below. If you are NOT selected for a performance, you will NOT be allowed to join us last minute without express permission from Stephen Ross.
  • If selected, you must plan on being present at the venue for a sound-check/rehearsal/run-through 2 hours prior to the performance start time at 5:30pm. After sound-check, you will be required to leave the venue and re-enter as normal with the rest of the audience with your tickets. There will not be any held rehearsals prior to the event so your individual preparedness is vital.
  • If selected, plan on wearing all black semi-formal attire for the performance.
  • All selected singers must be 100% memorized on the music upon arrival for soundcheck. Practice resources will be provided on this website, below.

If you’ve registered, be sure to scroll down on each respective list to find your name.

Note: After you register, your name is added to the list below manually… so give me about 12ish hours to update the list before you freak out because you don’t see yourself and send me an email 🙂 -SR
